Rosanne Gillis, age 88, formerly of Hallandale, Florida, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Oakton, Virginia. Loving wife of the late Howard Gillis; beloved mother of Juliet (John) Schoeberlein of Virginia, and Howard (Jennifer) Gillis, II, of Florida; treasured grandmother to Adam (Leslie)Schoeberlein, Elizabeth (Adam) Waite, Andrew Gillis and partner Adam Ford Williams, Peter Gillis and fiancee Cheyenne McQuilkin, and Katherine Gillis Reggie Hodges; and great-grandmother to three. Rosanne was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie Weis, and her brother, Fred Halpern.
