Rosemarie G. Bowie

Of Arlington, VA passed away on June 24, 2013. She was born on July 1, 1936 and lived in Arlington most of her adult life. She was a member of the Virginia State Bar, she was employed at the US Patent & Trademark Office as an examiner, and also an attorney throughout her legal career. Upon her retirement from the federal government, she continued to live in Arlington and pursued many of her interests. One of her most compelling interests was that of serving as a guardian for people in need in the Arlington Community. In that capacity, Rosemarie served the needs of young and the elderly. In addition, she applied her legal training to assist the elderly who were residing in local nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. She did all of this on a volunteer basis. Her other interests included photography, sewing and ceramics.
She leaves behind two cousins, Ronalee Schmidt of Tucson, AZ; and Mary Lee Minert of Commerce City, CO.
