Rosemary Gourley Porter

Rosemary went by many names but most of all she was someone who you could always count on. Rosie was born in Hudson, South Dakota to parents Jim and Mary on July 17th 1942. Growing up on a farm her and her sister Catherine quickly learned the true meaning of a hard day’s work. Having faced many hardships in her life she was able to overcome them through her strong faith, positivity, and a good laugh along the way. Never a bad word to say about anyone she would always focus on the brighter things in life like the people she cherished most: her family and friends. Those who knew her understood how special of a person she was, and her cherished memories will live on. Thank you for taking part in celebrating the life of our mom who will be missed beyond words.
