Rosemary J. Poole of Oakton, VA died on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her home with her husband by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Peter A. Poole; sister-in-law Anthea Sullivan;two nieces, Clea and Emma Sullivan, and one nephew, Marc Sullivan.
Rosemary had a first career as a member of the British Foreign Service and served in Baghdad, Phnom Penh, Oslo, Washington, and Bangkok. Her second academic career was as an art historian at George Mason University.
