Dear Donna, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Corpus Christi Parish family is here for you and praying for you and your boys, especially for the repose of Sean’s soul. May Mother Mary wrap you in her mantle. Jennifer
I am a parishioner of Corpus Christi and read of the terrible loss of your dear son, Sean. My daughter, Camille was killed in an auto accident in 1984 at the age of 23. I know your feelings and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and my heartfelt sympathy. Love and prayers, Edna Pulise
Donna, I am a member of the Corpus Christi Rosary Group. I am so sorry about the painful loss of your son, Sean. I pray he is now at peace with Our Lord. I also pray God Our Father holds you and your family tightly in His hands and you feel His love and comfort. You are in my prayers, Laura Wood
Sean DaSilva was a Marine; high honor enough, but he did so much more in one short enlistment. He quickly rose to the rank of Sergeant as a Middle East Cryptologic Linguist (MOS 2671). After completing training at Parris Island, Monterrey, and Goodfellow, he was assigned to 2nd Radio Battalion, Camp LeJeune, NC. From Camp Lejeune and while deployed he provided near real time actionable intelligence support to forward deployed units in the CENTCOM AOR. Sgt DaSilva was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal for mission impact during his combat deployment as a SIGINT Linguist/Analyst with Operation Inherent Resolve in 2017. According to CJTF-OIR “During 2017 over 61,500km² of territory was liberated from Daesh across Iraq and Syria … [and] more than 4.5 million people were liberated from Daesh oppression in 2017 …” https://www.centcom.mil/ As Montgomery Gentry said “That’s a life you can hang your hat on …”
Sean was a part of our OI family and his presence will be missed tremendously. Sending his family and dear friends my deepest sympathy and wishing you comfort and strength in all the days ahead. Knowing he will continue watching over each and everyone and will always be held in highest regards. Stacey M. Operational Intelligence, LLC
I lost touch with Sean while overseas. I had been trying to reach him ever since I returned in January 2020. We were classmates in Monterey. I have nothing but great memories with him. I was trying to reconnect with him today when I came across this obituary. Just absolutely shocked to learn of his passing away. “Squirrel,” I’ll miss you brother! Thanks for all the laughs, the fun times, and for being such a genuinely great person. –”Reptar”
