Relatives, friends, and colleagues are invited to PJ Skidoo’s in Fairfax for Sheilah’s Celebration of Thanks on Friday November 18 between 2-5:00

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Sheilah’s honor to the Saville Cancer Screening and Prevention Center (there is a drop down under gift designation on the link that follows)

Memories Timeline

  1. From the Pawn Shop Restaurant to our weddings, to our children, to the loss of our siblings, to the loss of our parents, to our flying careers, to our dedication of our co-workers, to our personal friendship and having the great privilege of just knowing you, “Shish,” my heart is broken and is at loss with this new emptiness. I did beat you to retirement (nov 7th). Please save me a chair at that Flight Attendant bingo table up in Heaven! Paint it pink with a Barbie doll on it ?! And as I always promised you, I will leave my footprints in the tidal sand so you can guide me from above. Luv you always, your “Mish!”

  2. My deepest condolences to the family..she is truly of a kind…loved and never forgotten ❤️

  3. Sheilah, I’ve known you for 7 years, since I started working at US Airways and you were my supervisor for past few years. You were and for me you’ll always be a synonym of the perfect leader. Fair, but tough when needed, fun, friendly and so caring on the personal level.

    Fly high, dear Sheilah!

  4. Sheilah, my heart is heavy since you have left this earth. You have been a friend to me, a coworker, a manager and a close confidant. I enjoyed our weekly text messages and phone calls, and you always made me smile calling me your PITA. Rest in Peace my dear friend, RIP. ❤️?❤️

  5. I miss my 5am teammate – opening the office. Contrary to your “Cruella” facade which you loved to play, you were kind, compassionate, patient and funny. There is no way to fully express how much you are missed.

  6. Q: How did you meet Sheilah?

A: I met Sheilah at PJ several
Years ago. We immediately connected and became great friends.

  7. Q: What 3 words best describe Sheilah and why?

A: Sheliah was kind, Very opinionated and cracked me up with her sarcasm!! I will miss all of this so terribly.

  8. We will all greatly miss Sheilah. She was our rock in DCA. Always a smile on her face no matter what she was dealing with in her own world. She knew how to take care of us, and did so with grace. I often would go into the office just to say Hi, and get a smile 🙂 My condolences to her family.

  9. Q: What will you miss most about Sheilah?

A: Sheliah was such an inspirational woman. She was a fighter, and never stopped working hard. I will miss her always saying hello to me, when I saw her in the terminal, or in the office. I looked forward to seeing her. She cared about everyone, and even asked my mother how I was, before I was even a flight attendant!
