Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Adrian and I are so sad to hear of Sherry’s passing. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for your peace and comfort in these difficult days. Sherry will be so missed by many, especially her devoted family and friends. She was a brave lady for a long time and endured many treatments in hopes of a cure for her illness. May God bless you and hold you in His heart.

  2. Trevor and I were very sad learn that Sherry had passed away after her courageous battle. I met Sherry through Girl Scouts as both our daughters were involved and we were co-leaders together along with another friend, Diane. I loved her enthusiasm, determination and dedication. She was a very caring friend and someone I admired. I will always cherish those memories of our time together. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband, Tom; daughter, Melissa; son, Bryan; and the newest addition to the family, her grand-daughter Lila.

  3. Brian: Please know that you have our deepest sympathy and will be in our prayers as you and your family navigate through this difficult time. May God bless you, Keith & Vickie Workman

  4. Sherry made this world a better place for everyone who had the honor and privilege of knowing her. Our deepest love to you all. Ellie and Greg

  5. Dear Tom and family, We are sorry for your loss of Sherry, we know she was ill for a long time and suffered much. I worked with Sherry a long time ago at Garfinckel’s — in the good ole’ days–when it was fun!! We were with you both at Pat & Richard’s a while ago when she seemed to be doing pretty well, but I guess she faded fast. She is in a better place now and at peace. Once again, our condolences to all the family, and our best wishes. Shirley & Tom Huddleston

  6. Dear Tom and family: The loss of Sherry is a huge hole in every circle of people she ever touched. Please know that you have our deepest sympathies, our prayers, and our tears. Sherry will be missed.

  7. Tom & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that in time the sorrow you now feel and the memories of Sherry’s pain will be replaced with joyful memories.

  8. Tom, Melissa, and Brian, Sherry is watching over you all now. Her love will always be there for you. May you find comfort in God’s love in this very difficult time. Love Becky & Chris Walker

  9. Ev and I can remember so many wonderful parties, tailgates, wrestling matches, baseball games, and camping trips for which Sherry was the chief caretaker. Now she takes over as guardian angel. It’s comforting to know that she is at peace. We send our love to Tom and family.

  10. Sherry was my college roommate at University of MO-COLUMBIA, MO.second semester 1969 of freshman year. Energetic, charismatic, generous & empathic, her love of life & boundless energy showered upon me the love of a sister I craved. Both of us were die hard GDIs & after living with Sherry I never felt alone again. We stayed friends after she left Mizzou. She helped me believe in myself & gave me the confidence to think about my future as a single mom. Life became busy for both of us & we lost contact but I will always remember her smile, her little gifts ( a gift was a sussy) and her beautiful blue eyes. After having our small sack of food stolen out of the LATHROP Hall dorm refrigerator more than once, Sherry & I decided we needed to teach someone a lesson. Sherry bought brownies & hid ExLax in them. The next day two of the thieves went to the infirmary! We found out who was stealing from us & had a good laugh also!
