  1. She was inspiration and a blessing to me. She epitomized gentile grace and Godliness. It gladdens my heart to know that she is in the presence of God; at the same time I am sadden to know that I will have to wait a awhile to be graced by her kind eyes and lovely smile again. I know that this is a temporary separation and the Kingdom will continue to be blessed by her bountiful fruit that remains.

  3. Sidney was truly a gracious lady. A loyal wife, wonderful mother and grandmother/greatgrandmother and a dear friend. We need more people like her on this earth. Her presence always brought a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ed and the family at this sorrowful time.

  4. Although I never met Sidney, I know what is in store for a gal when she becomes a Navy wife. I have played golf with Ed for some years now and I have seen that Sidney kept him on the right road. My deepest sympathy to Ed and family.

  5. I am so sorry we were not able to be there for the celebration of Aunt Sidney’s life. Your Florida relatives extend our love, thoughts and prayers to you all during this sad time. Aunt Sid has always held a special place in my heart. Though we did not see each other very often, I will miss her dearly. I have special memories of a family trip to Vienna many years ago in which Aunt Sid was the gracious hostess to our family of seven. I always looked forward to her visits to Florida and hearing about her family and how it was growing leaps and bounds. I pray that you all find great comfort in your memories of her.

  6. Our deepest sympathy to Ed and family for their loss of a very special wife and mother. I have known Sid since she and Ed were stationed in Rhode Island and became friends of our family almost 50 years ago. Sid lived for her family and others, even returning to stay with my mom when dad was in a coma from a stroke for 2 weeks before he died 21 years ago. But now she is with my parents and others in Heaven, where we will all be reunited someday.
