  22. “Weep not for me though I am gone Into the gentle night Grieve if you will, but not for long Upon my soul’s sweet flight I am at peace, my soul’s at rest There is no need for tears For with your love I was blessed For all those many years There is no pain, I suffer not The fear now is all gone Put now those things of your thoughts In your memory live on Remember not my fight for breath Remember not my strife Please do not dwell upon my death But celebrate my life” May you find some confort in these words. You are all in my prayers

  23. I am so sorry for your lost, your family will be in my prayers. AND GOD SAID I said, “God, I hurt.” And God said, “I know.” I said, “God, I cry a lot.” And God said, “That is why I gave you tears.” I said “God, I am so depressed.” And God said, “That is why I gave you Sunshine.” I said, “God, life is so hard.” And God said, “That is why I gave you loved ones.” I said, “God, my loved one died.” And God said, “So did mine.” I said, “God, it is such a loss.” And God said, “I saw mine nailed to a cross.” I said, “God, but your loved one lives.” And God said, “So does yours.” I said, “God, where are they now?” And God said, “Mine is on My right and yours will be in the Light.” I said, “God, it hurts.” And God said, “I know.”

  24. Aunt Robi, Uncle Ken & Tyler, I can hardly imagine the pain you are feeling. I continue to pray for you all. I do believe Kenny found the peace he was looking for. May my baby cousin/battle buddy rest in peace. With a heavy heart, Amber

  25. I found this poem and I’m sure this is how Ken would speak to us right now. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. “When I am gone, release me; let me go I have so many things to see and do. You must not tie yourself to me with tears Be happy that we had so many years I gave you love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love each have shown but now it is time I travelled alone. So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It is only for a while that we must part so bless those memories within your heart. I will not be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near And if you listen with your heart, you will hear. All of my love around you, soft and clear. Then when you must come this way alone, I will greet you with a smile and a welcome home. Semper Fidelis, LCpl. Miguel Rodriguez USMC

  45. My condolences to his family. I just want to share a comforting message about God’s promise that in the near future we will see our dead loved ones again. The book of John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 says: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement.” God promised that the whole earth will be made into a paradise and the dead will have an opportunity to live forever in peaceful and happy conditions. My prayers are with you.
