It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven J. Lucido, a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished member of our community, who departed this life on August 26, 2024 at the age of 79.
A graduate of St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, Steve went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy. His commitment to national service continued through his esteemed career with the Department of Defense.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steve was a man who cherished his family above all else. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Priscilla (Pinky) and a devoted father to his children, Donna and Anthony. As a grandfather, Steve brought endless joy to his grandchildren, Steven [Lexi] and John Carl with whom he shared many memorable moments, from camping & fishing trips to being honored with officiating the marriage of his eldest grandson Steven to his wife Lexi. His family will always remember him as a guiding light, whose wisdom, humor, and kindness left an indelible mark on their hearts.
In addition to his family, Steve was a humble man who would never admit to being a pillar of the community. He was always ready with a helping hand, a kind word, or a warm smile. Whether mentoring people, or simply being a friendly face around town, Steve made a difference in the lives of everyone he met. His generosity of spirit and unwavering moral compass earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
Steven is survived by his loving children, Donna Hill and Anthony Lucido, his adoring grandchildren, Steven Hill [Lexi Hill] and John Carl Enos, III. His best friend and sister-in- law, Lilith Inocencio, and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Steve will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, service, and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
