Mary, Kristen, Sandy, and I were commenting how we will miss seeing her and hearing stories about Carter and Spencer. What a delight she was. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Please extend our condolences to Michele, Todd, and Mr. Woodard.
Jerry: A lovely celebration of Sue’s life. Your daughters talk inspired me to spend more time with my 90+ Mom. I know you’ll be back in the “swing” in due time & I hope we can have a golf match soon. Geoff & Karen

Dear Jerry and Family, We are so very sorry for your loss. Sue was one-of-a-kind! With that distinctive voice and her ebullient personality and Southern charm, she was a dynamo. How proud she was of you Jerry, and your wonderful family. She is a real estate legend and set a standard that few will exceed. A gracious lady, witty and clever, a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. May your many wonderful memories give you some measure of comfort during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you all tonight.
To the Huckaby Family, I was so sad when I overheard the news today that Mrs. Huckaby had passed away. I didn’t actually know Mrs. Huckaby, I never met her but I wanted you to know what an impact she had on not only those who knew her and worked with her but also those that knew of her. As a “green” real estate agent in 2002, I saw Mrs. Huckaby’s “for sale” signs on beautiful properties all over McLean and Great Falls. She was someone that I aspired to be like even though I didn’t know her. She appeared to be so professional and poised, the perfect real estate agent. She was an icon in the Real Estate industry and will be remembered and celebrated for many years to come. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time.
Jerry & Family, There are no words to express our sorrow. Sue was as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. You were blessed to be the love of her life and we were blessed to be her friends. She was the consummate real estate professional and carried her success with grace, but more importantly she was a genuinely wonderful human being. She brought joy & light to all she loved. May the memories of those joyful moments outshine the sad moments & stay as bright & shining for you as Sue herself. One day you will be together again. We are keeping you and Michelle & all the family in our prayers.
Sue’s passing is a loss for all or us but we know she is now at peace and comforted by the devoted and infinite love of her family. She has been a very dear friend for many years and our memories of her will be treasured. She will be in our hearts and thoughts forever. Mary Lou and Bob St. Louis
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad time. Sue was a beautiful, strong and caring woman. She walked through life with grace and kindness. She will truly be missed.
Jerry and Family, Rose & I share your loss of Sue. We will pray for you & your entire family.
My sincerest sympathy to Sue’s loved ones. She was the quintessential “southern lady:” charming, amusing, kind, and so capable…all wrapped up in that beautiful package. It was a privilege to have worked with and known her. She was a rare joy, and will be missed immensely.
Dear Jerry and Michelle and family, Please accept our sincerest condolences at this difficult time. Sue and her associate helped us find our present home. She was kind, astute, and a faithful Christian at Trinity UMC when we were in the congregation. I will miss her presence in our hometown. Warmest Regards, Janet Kim Lee, Tony Lee
A dear colleague — she was an inspiration to us all with her enthusiasm and professionalism and encouragement. You will be missed. It was a joy to work with you while at Weichert Realtors together. You and my dear, Robert, are probably laughing together now — I wonder if they have Open House signs in heaven. Mrs. Robert M. Mulligan aka Ella Mulligan
Dear Jerry, Michelle and family, Please know that Susan and I are so sad to hear of Sue’s passing. She was a beautiful and caring wife, mother and friend. Her countless colleagues at Shannon & Luchs loved her. She was one of our most successful, dedicated real estate professionals. She was a winner. We will always remember her and miss her.
Jerry: My thoughts are with you. I have such fond memories of you and Sue at Mardi Gras in Washington — and happy times with Sue in real estate. Fondly, Ashton
Dear Huckaby Family: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Sue was an inspiration to so many people and will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
We remember Sue with such great fondness. We worked with Sue about 8 years ago when selling our home and buying a new one. She was the epitome of professionalism, grace, charm, and warmth. After that, I remember she helped Langley High School’s yearbook with advertising;she was a tremendous supporter of many programs in our community. We will miss her smile, her humor, her generosity, and her beauty in so many dimensions. Our thoughts are with her family and we take comfort knowing she lives on through them and for them.
Jerry, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was wonderful to have known Sue as an associate and friend. We will remember all she stood for that was fine and helpful to others. She will be missed.
Dear Jerry, Webb snd I are so sorry to hear of Sue’s death. We are thinking of you. Sue was a wonderful person–and so much fun. We have missed you both over the years. Love and deepest sympathy, Edna
Jerry, I just recently learned that Sue had passed away. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Its been fifteen years since I last saw her but I have followed her career through varies publications. She was a real “class act”. Her southern charm was wonderful. She was gracious to everyone while setting one sales record after another-she seemed to make it look so easy when I knew just how difficult the residential sales business can be. To me she was the best Shannon & Luchs had to offer.
My Sympathy to The Family during the loss of Sue Huckaby. I just found out today while reading Elan. Sue was a Sweet and Kind Woman and always had a smile on Her face. I will remember Her beautiful Southern ways when I think of Her. Cheryl L. Dixon
