Terry Sanford Colbert

Vienna VA Terry Sanford (Skip) Colbert, 80, passed away Tuesday April 11, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Chrysanthi Colbert; his sons Costa Colbert and Michael Colbert, his daughters-in-law Janet Stringer and Linda Seeman Colbert, his grand-daughters Hannah Colbert and Heather Colbert; and his sister Diane Dolman.
Mr Colbert was born in Cleveland Ohio, and grew up in Southern California. He was a proud alumnus of the University of Southern California. After his military service, he established a successful clothes importing business. Later, he became passionately involved in computer software design, both his business and hobby for much of his adult life. He was proud to work for the Dept of Agriculture, particularly the Forest Service for many years.
He was an avid sailor who enjoyed the Chesapeake Bay.
There will be a viewing at Money and King Funeral Home in Vienna on Monday 4-17, at 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Bethesda MD, on Tuesday, 4-18 at 10:30 am.
