Theodore "Ted" K. Bauer
January 29, 1944 ~ May 16, 2023
Theodore Kelton Bauer, 79, of Vienna, VA, passed away on May 16, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
Theodore, or Ted, as he was known to most, was born on January 29, 1944 to Raymond and Louise Bauer in
Baltimore, MD. After graduating from James Madison High School in 1962, Ted went on to join the US Air Force and
after a few years he was honorably discharged and went on to study and achieve a degree in Data Processing and Computer Science at Northern Virginia Community College in 1972. After graduation, Ted landed his a job as a Data Analyst
for The United States Department of Agriculture, kicking off a 30+ year career in Computers and Networking. In 1967, Ted met Connie, and they wed on May 17,1969, going on to have 3 children, Michael, Cathi and Stacy.
After retiring around 2004, Ted spent his time at their beach house in Ocean City, MD. He loved living on the water and would ride his jet ski everyday with immense pride and much deserved joy. He thoroughly loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Ted was predeceased by his son, Michael and wife, Connie. Ted is survived by his daughters Cathi Bauer, Stacy
Montgomery, her husband Bo and twin grandchildren Coryn and Sebastian. Sister Susan Wilkes and her husband Kevin Wilkes. Loved by sister in law Aunt Terri Colangelo and brother in law Uncle Jerry Rich and many nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am EST on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Money & King Funeral Home in Vienna, VA.
In remembrance of Theodore Ted, his loving and kind spirit touched the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. Ted’s friendly demeanor, intelligence, and wisdom shone through in every word he spoke. His boundless generosity, thoughtfulness, and courage inspired us all. Those who knew Ted were grateful for his selflessness and to witness his creativity at hand. He will be especially missed by his first daughter and middle child – a testament to the love that they shared. Rest in peace, dear Ted.

It was such a great time when Jane and I enjoyed Breakfast with you and Connie, we celebrated the twines first birthday! We took a lot of pictures holding two babies, I still have pictures of Connie and you holding Coryn and Sebastian.
You are gone! But you will never be Forgotten!

Ted was one of the nicest people that I have ever met. He was selfless, compassionate and always had a smile on his face. He is truly missed❤️. You are our beautiful angel watching over us❤️
I knew Ted from NAL. I had a very pleasant ride with him in his Mustang to Virginia beach some years ago. He was a great man.
