Passed away peacefully at his daughters home in Centreville, VA with his family at his bedside. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen Adams; father of Ellen Gillette, Susan France, Thomas Edwin Adams, III, Laura Adams, Elizabeth "Betsy" Marcum, Samuel Glenn Adams, Joseph Estes Adams and James Benjamin Adams; brother of Robert L. Adams, Betty A. Baker and Joan A. Vipperman.
He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
