Guestbook

  1. Lynda, Uncle Frank and I are put our arms around you and yours. As you said, you used to toast Uncle Frank and so we shall..memories of a distinguished gentleman. Ms. Estates

  2. I knew Tom since the early 80’s. In 1990 he became part of my staff and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He was full of life and always spoke highly of people he knew. He is one of those people that one can never forget.

  3. I was fortunate to have met my Grandfather at age 25. From the moment I met him I knew what a special man he was. His gentle soul, loving nature and kind words will live in my heart forever. I love you Grandpa. Lori Johnson

  4. We are all sadden by the loss of Col Tom Crandall, one of those individuals who gave so much and never asked anything but the best of us. He will surely be missed, but we can take heart in the fact that a good life that was spent well will continue to shine in all those that knew him or whose lives he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with Crandall family at this time.

  5. Tom Crandall will live always in my memory as a loving husband to his “Bride”; as one who lived life to the fullest…with stories and laughs to share; and as a wonderful friend…an attentive listener ready with sage advice, when requested. Tom set a standard for living, loving and friendship to which I will always aspire…with his help from Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynda and the Crandall family in our shared loss.

  6. I was saddened to hear of Tom Crandall’s passing and wish to express my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. I worked with Tom at FAA in the mid 90s and have many fond memories of him. Tom was a great co-worker, always willing to lend a hand no matter what the task, and to share his vast knowledge and experience. He’ll be missed but not forgotten. The Crandall family is in our prayers.

  7. I remember him as a great man, a great combat veteran of the greatest generation, a great parent, and a good Dad to the friends of his son Robert and daughter Nancy. I remember the great times we had at his farm/ getaway property in the mountains west of Strasburg, VA, near Mountain Falls. He had a great and charming wonderful wife too. I was blessed to have been a close friend of his son Robert, who loved fishing and hunting and their farm as I did.
