Tom had a quick wit, and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He was an avid gardener, excellent cook, enjoyed landscape painting, time spent with family at his vacation home in Bethany Beach, and the occasional political discussion. He enjoyed having his family close by to celebrate birthdays and holidays. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned and greatly appreciated especially during his final days. He will be remembered and greatly missed for his selfless love, words of wisdom, caring and thoughtful ways and most importantly as the best husband, father, and pop-pop.

Funeral arrangements are private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a charitable donation be made to the American Lung Association in honor of Thomas Quigley and/or The Alzheimer’s Association in memory of his wife, Margaret Ann Quigley.

Guestbook

  1. Tom was our neighbor for 11 years. We absolutely adored him. We loved watching him over the years tend to his lawn and garden, and always share a smile and a wave. We loved baking for him, and making him a meal here and there. He was always so thankful. I know Ms. Peggy will greet him with open arms in heaven. We will truly miss you Mr. Tom!
