Of McLean, VA died on July 5, 2018 at his residence. Beloved husband of Gay Rogers; father of Anne Davis (Kevin) and Kathryn Purselle (Matt) and grandfather of Louise, Caroline and Thomas Purselle. Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1205 Dolley Madison Blvd., McLean, VA on Sunday, July 15 at 2 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Thomas “Woody” Rogers, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.

Woody was a great friend to everyone who met him. Jerry and I cherish the memories of wonderful international bicycle tours many of our friends did with Woody and Gay. Woody’s photos were always excellent. Woody and Gay knew how to enjoy life. Rest in peace, Woody, Gloria and Jerry Colley

We met Woody on a cycling tour. He was such a friendly, nice guy. We enjoyed talking cycling and farming with him! He and Gay really added to the enjoyment of our trip. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. ~Marie & Steve Echols
