Timothy John Mulreany passed away on December 1, 2020 in Falls Church, Virginia. Affectionately called Tim or Timmy by family and friends was born on November 7, 1962 in Scotch Plains, New Jersey and grew up in McLean, Virginia and Raleigh, North

Carolina.

Tim was known for his quick wit, kindness, willingness to help family and friends, storytelling skills and worldwide friendships. He was proud of his amber locks which he inherited from his Dad, the late Michael J. Mulreany. He is survived by his mother, Joyce C. Mulreany. Tim was the sixth beloved sibling that included eight brothers and sisters and their spouses: Mike Mulreany and wife, Sharon; Brian Mulreany and wife, Elaine; Ed Mulreany and wife, Patty; Joan Kenney and husband, Dennis; Ann Stoddard and late husband, Alan; Joyce Kasbekar and husband Anand; Robert Mulreany and wife, Connie; Mary Kelley and husband, Keith. Uncle Timmy was loved by fifteen nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and one great nephew and will always be remembered as our Secret Santa.

Throughout his career in audiovisual communication, Tim provided technical support that brought out the best in the presenters and crew and included serving Presidents of the United States through the U.S. State Department. He traveled the globe and visited China, Russia, Africa and South America and proudly achieved climbing the Great Wall of China. His cleverness in solving problems, attention to detail, work ethic and fun loving nature were valued throughout his career.

TIm loved his family and always had a kind word for everyone he met. He enjoyed the time he lived in California especially in San Francisco and San Diego. The family extends condolences to all of Timmy’s friends with special appreciation to Eddie Cunningham. Tim was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. As Timmy would sign off, “Peace, Love and Happiness.”
