My deepest sympathy to Mary Jo and all the family on the loss of Verna. I remember her from early days in Fairfax and especially at Truro Church. Mary Jo and my sister were childhood playmates.
Verna was a woman of deep feelings, and I know that she will be missed by all who ever knew her. I met her during the time she lived at the Virginian and I always enjoyed visiting with her. I know how much Verna was proud of and loved MJ. My sympathy to all in her family.
My deepest sympathy to Mary Jo and all the family on the loss of Verna. I fondly remember Mrs. Hasty as our neighbor when we lived in Vienna.
On behalf of the Fairfax chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, I send our concolences to Verna’s family. She was a long time member of Fairfax Chapter and we all enjoyed her company at our meetings. She was missed these past several years. We will remember her in UDC love.
