Virginia Dawn Banks passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at her home in Reston, Va. Devoted mother of Patricia Lorene Gibson (Elwood), Laura Beth North (Gerald) and Martha Jean Formeck (Charles). Also survived by seven grandchildren. She retired from Civil Service at the Pentagon in March 1996. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th at 1:00 PM at Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Rd., Herndon, Va. Private interment was previously held.

  3. Martha, Laura, & Pat, how fitting that your mother left this world on “ALL SAINTS DAY”, the angels knew what they were doing! I see her in the arms of the angels with no pain and no worries…how Wonderful. How wonderful too that she left us all so many great and precious memories to treasure and, don’t forget that yummy yummy fudge!!! So many memories….. I’m sorry I can’t be with you all tomorrow but you are all in my thoughts & prayers. May God’s love and peace comfort you during this time. Love to you all.   5. My dear Ginny, You are one beautiful and classy lady. It was great having you as a friend, working with you at SPC, and getting together for mini reunions. We had some good times and lots of laughs over the years, and you have left us with many wonderful memories. The Lord is lucky to have you now, but you will be missed greatly here on Earth. Although we havent seen each other for a few years now, last week you popped up on my mind. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sing with the Angels dear Ginny!
