Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about Mrs Burke. My memories go way back to when we used to come over to your house as kids. I mostly remember Mr Burke, Janet(who babysat us occasionally)and Tim (since he’s married to Joyce). May God bless and keep you during this time of sorrow. Nina

  2. Our sincere sympathy Jan and to all family members. We will keep her in our prayers especially for the surviving family members in this time of sorrow. May she rest in peace of our Lord.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. One of my fondest memories with Virginia was one Christmas many years ago I came over to her house with Patty (my sister-n-law) to make little chocolate molded candies. We had a great time laughing and carrying on. I think back on that day a lot. I really enjoyed that day with Virginia and Patty and her family. I tried making them this past Christmas with my kids and had a great time. We will miss you very much. Love, Kristy, Pat, Rachel & Zachary Hill

  4. To Bob and your family: Please know that your friends from the Bull Run Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America extend our sympathy to you – it is ironic that Virginia passed away on the very day of the AACA’s 75th Annual Meeting in Philadelphia where I’ve always enjoyed catching up with you. Please take good care of yourselves and remember your many years of good times. Franklin Gage

  5. Mr. Burke, Patty, Pam and the rest of the Burke Family, We know that her passing will not only leave a void in your lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew her. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about. On behalf of JMHS Class of 76: May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

  6. Mrs. Burke was a wonderful neighbor and our family will always remember the yummy chex mix she would bring over during the holidays and our children remember her thoughtfulness when she would bring them McDonalds gift cards. A lovely lady and true neighbor who looked out for all.

  7. Bob and family – I didn’t learn of Virginia’s passing until after the funeral otherwise I would have been there. Virginia was a very special person (Bob is too!) and I will always remember her dedication to Dunn Loring VFD and how supportive she was of the department. Virginia always was very kind to me too and I have many fond memories of hanging out with her in the bingo hall. My prayers are with all of you. Matthew “Butch” Banks Life Member and Past Chief, DLVFRD

  8. Aunt Ginny, I just learned of your passing. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you. You were like a second Mom to me and Rick (Rest in Peace big Brother). Mom (Gladys) loved you like a sister. I hope you have found each other in heaven and are playing for the jackpot ” BINGO” Uncle Bob, Pat, Pam, Janet and the rest of the Family, I think of you all often. May God keep and comfort you always. With deep Sympathy and fond memories – Christine Fahie
