Frank and family: I am so sorry to hear the sad news. I have fond memories of Aunt Vivian. her family and friends as well as her lovely home. I have often wished to be able to travel back East and visit, but life has never presented that opportunity. Our family shares your sorrow. Lori, Malcolm, Adam, and Kari
Dear Frank, Sally and Family, We are so sorry for your loss. We have fond memories of a dinner and a concert at Wolf Trap with your Mother. She was a lovely lady.
I share your sorrow and loss. May my beloved big sister, find peaceful rest. She was a bright and wonderful woman. Frank and family—-Hold your happy memories close to your heart—–they are more precious than gold!
Dear Cousin Frank and Family: Deepest sympathies regarding the passing of Aunt Vivian. As you may know, she was my godmother and I have fond memories of visiting with you all in Virginia, back in the 60s. I once spent a week there by myself during the winter, around 1961 or so, and had a great time. Also, still hanging in my law office is a framed print with a justice theme that she gave me in 1978 when I graduated law school. She was a great lady and will be sorely missed!
Dear Cousin Frank and Sally and all of your family… My heart is with you at this sad time. This is a bridge that must be crossed and there is nothing we can do but process the loss. Vivian was such a vivid person! I remember breakfast at her house and the detail she went to in preparing it for us. I had never had a coddled egg before that. I remember the pride she took in her yard and her house. I remember the way she said my father’s name and the way she twisted her hair up and the intensity of her gaze. When I married in 1973 she sent me a cookbook with annotations to tell me which recipes she particularly liked. I have it still. She was a memorable woman who lived a long and interesting life and she leaves a loving family behind. What more can we ask for? Gentle hugs your way… Milyn
