Walter Richard Mahoney, Jr.,"Rick", age 65, of Vienna VA, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 10, 2013, with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband of Lois Brooke Mahoney; beloved father of Kelley Brooke (Brian) McManama and Sean Richard (Krystal) Mahoney; brother of Wilbert Baggett (Sherry) Mahoney; and treasured grandfather of Sean Patrick McManama. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Walter R. Mahoney, Sr. and Ida Wainwright Baggett.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rick's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Monday, October 14 from 2 pm to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m Tuesday, October 15 at Columbia Baptist Church, 103 W. Columbia St., Falls Church, VA with interment at Columbia Gardens Cemetery following the service.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Rick's name to Capital Caring (www.capitalcaring.org) or The American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org)
