Wanda Spasowski died on February 7, 2014 at her home in Oakton, Virginia.
Beloved wife of the late Ambassador Romuald Spasowski; mother of the late Maria and Wladyslaw Spasowski.
In protest to the imposition of martial law in Poland, Ambassador and Mrs. Spasowski defected to the US in 1981.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Rd., Vienna, Virginia 22181 on Tuesday, February 11 at 11 am. Interment will be at Columbia Gardens Cemetery.
