Warren Frederick Roberson (age 86) of Oakton, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at his residence. Beloved husband of the late Virginia L. Roberson; father of Diane L. Alderton, Duane F. Roberson, & Darryl L. Roberson; brother of Wilma Henkel & Carrie Trammel; grandfather of Tamara, Garrett, Jason, Jessica, & Rebecca; & great-grandfather of McKenna, Taylor, Sydney, & James. Family & friends are invited to Mr. Roberson's Life Celebration at Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Monday, April 7 from 6-8pm, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 1pm. Interment at Fairfax Memorial Park. Mr. Roberson gave a lot of time to youth baseball in Fairfax and he was always a quiet gentleman. It’s a tribute to him that he and the example he set are remembered more than 30 years after I last saw him on the field or in the opposing team’s dugout. Rest in peace, Mr. Roberson.
