Wil passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Loving husband of Karen; father of Bil and Tim; grandfather of Miranda and Melanie; brother of Patricia Hale, Kathy Stokes, May Lou Watson, Christine Fay, Joe Dooley and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Rita and Wil Dooley; sister Lynne Nearman and brother Tom Dooley and first wife Nancy. Wil was an Eagle Scout, a graduate of Georgetown University (BA), American University (JD), Georgetown University Law Center (LLM) and member of the Bar for the District of Columbia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fairfax County Animal Shelter, 4500 West Ox Rd., Fairfax, Va 22030.

My condolences to Mr. Dooley’s family. I taught Billy at St. Jude School, and would love to hear from him.
Will, I knew him as Bill, and I were class mates at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School in Silver Spring, Md. and later at Good Counsel H. S. in Wheaton, Md. After High School, Bill went with the Jesuits at Georgetown and I went with them at Wheeling College, now Wheeling Jesuit University. I remember Bill as a fun loving and likeable classmate. Bill contacted me back in 2006 with the intention of revisiting old memories, but I was in the process of moving at that time and was unable to meet with him. I am sorry that I missed the opportunity to see my old classmate. I will miss him deeply.
