William F. "Bill" Werning, Jr., of Vienna, VA, died on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Virginia Hospital Center. Loving husband of 32 years to Wendy Werning; devoted father of Lindy Werning (Julie) and Karalee Werning (Steve Altizer); brother of Larry Werning (Jean), Mary Earley (Mike) and Ann Kopf (Tom) and cherished grandfather of Ryan Werning.

Bill was a wonderful person who was a joy to be around. We will never forgot our travels and meals with him here and in Europe; we were proud to be “client modeles” with him and Wendy. Bill was devoted to his family and to his country. We will miss him greatly. Our prayers and condolences go out to Wendy and to the family. Much love to you all.
