William Britton
William F. Britton, of McLean, VA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 27. He was 55.
Bill was born and raised in McLean, Virginia, attending Langley High School and graduating from Bullis School and George Mason University.
Most recently he was a government contractor for TerpSys, based in Gaithersburg, MD, a technology company offering customer and computer network support and web design and development.
Bill loved fishing on the Potomac River and in Nags Head, North Carolina, where he vacationed with his family. He also loved music and played bass guitar. He enjoyed coaching his children at McLean Little League.
Bill is survived by his wife of 19 years, Louisa Britton, his son William, his daughter Willa, his sister Alice Heath, and two nephews.
