Sylvia Shum Leung, of Fairfax, Virginia passed away on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 in INOVA Fairfax Hospital after a year long fight against lung cancer.
Born in Hong Kong, November, 1950, to Mr and Mrs. WIing-Chaw Leung, Sylvia was kindergarten teacher for four years. After marriage, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom of three.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Alex, and three children Peggy Chung, Leonard Shum and Bonnie Shum with respective spouses . Also leave behind a granddaughter Ingrid Chung.
